Parity Squares: Snack Pack (6x6)

Parity Squares: Snack Pack, by pmays123

Normal 6x6 sudoku rules apply.

In each puzzle, there are 4 non-overlapping 'parity squares' in the grid. A parity square is a 2x2 region of cells whose digits are either all even or all odd. The number of even and/or odd parity squares is to be deduced by the solver.

The first few puzzles are meant to be a friendly introduction to how the ruleset works (1 star difficulty) while the final ones will put up more of a fight (~2-3 star difficulty).

#6: Stinky Cat - SudokuPad

Take note of the numbers on the completion screen of each puzzle. They are needed for the solution code.

Let me know if anything is unclear. Good luck, and I hope you enjoy and have a great day! :)

A hint for the mid-stage of #6 (highlight to make visible) -->

At this point you should have located two parity squares, began shading the grid for entropy and parity, and deduced that r2c3 and r2c4 have the same parity. r2c3 and r2c5 cannot have the same entropy given their different parity and distance from each other on the line. Furthermore, one of the two candidates for r3c4 forces a certain candidate in r2c3 thereby forcing a candidate in r2c5; in this case two different digits must be placed in r3c6. Thus, we know the shaded parity and entropy for r3c4.
