Special Thanks
The inspiration for this episode is a Richard puzzle, with the wonderful Easy Peasy Sudoku Leftover (05) - Thermometers - Removed bulbs.

Initial Setter Difficulty: 2 / 5
Normal Sudoku rules apply
Place the digits 1-9 so that they do not repeat in any row, column, or 3x3 box.
Dutch Flats
Every 5 in the grid must have a '1' directly above it or a '9' directly below it. It may have both, but it doesn't need both.
Bulbless Thermos
The digits in a thermometer are, from the bulb to the/each end, all different and placed in increasing order. The bulbs are removed and placing them is part of the puzzle. Bulbs can be placed on every place on a grey line; in case the bulb is on an end, the line forms one thermometer, in other cases exactly two.
Hint to start
Column 8 has a lot of early secrets to give, especially big digits.

Found it an especially difficult one this time for whatever reason. Had to break the puzzle a couple of times before I could finally get the right solution. Good fun though!
