"But  the  plans  were  on  display..." "On  display?  I  eventually  had  to  go  down  to  the  cellar  to  find them." "That's  the  display  department." "With  a  torch." "Ah,  well  the  lights  had  probably  gone." "So  had  the  stairs." "But  look,  you  found  the  notice  didn't  you?" "Yes,"  said  Arthur,  "yes  I  did.  It  was  on  display  in  the  bottom  of  a locked  filing  cabinet  stuck  in  a  disused  lavatory  with  a  sign  on  the door  saying  Beware  of  the  Leopard." - The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy

Rules

Normal sudoku rules apply: fill the grid with digits 1–9 so that no digit repeats in any row, column, or 3×3 box.

All variant clues follow their standard meanings; full descriptions are provided below.

  • Dynamic Fog: The grid is covered with fog; entering correct digits may clear fog elsewhere, and no guessing is required. Any lines or markings continue and connect beneath fog. Unless revealed, no additional clues should be assumed to exist under the fog.
  • Anti‑Knight: Cells a knight’s move apart (as in chess) may not contain the same digit.
  • Ten Line: A grey line is divided into contiguous segments, the digits in each segment sum to 10. Segments do not overlap and their boundaries are not indicated, solvers must determine them.
  • German Whispers: Along a green line, adjacent digits differ by at least 5.
  • Nabner Line: A yellow line cannot contain two digits anywhere on the line that are consecutive.
  • Quadruple Circles: Each digit shown in the circle must appear at least once among the four cells it is touching.
  • Factor Line: Along a black line, adjacent digits must have an integer factor/multiple relationship.
  • Zipper Line: Along a purple line, pairs of digits equidistant from each end of the line sum to the same value.
  • V Sums: A V between orthogonally adjacent cells indicates the digits sum to 5.
  • Don’t Panic!: No guessing is required - you are one hoopy frood.

Life! don't talk to me about life!
But I'd be happy to talk about or solve such nice puzzles, thanks :)

Very nice, tq. Needing to peak thru the fog and work out the quads is fun!

Very nice! I stayed away from the factor line as long as possible, but I shouldn't have: it was easier than expected. Thanks
