Prime Pincers

This is a remake of a very old puzzle. It is now much harder and more satisfying.

The rules are as follows:
  • Place the digits 1-9 once in every row, column, and region.
  • Arrows have a value equal to the sum of the digits along the diagonal they point to, like Little Killer.
  • Rounded rectangles have a two-digit value equal to the digits they contain in any order (i.e., if the vertical rectangle has the digit 1 above the digit 2, its value is either 12 or 21).
  • No two clues have the same value, and these seventeen values must be chosen from the first twenty primes: 2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 17, 19, 23, 29, 31, 37, 41, 43, 47, 53, 59, 61, 67, 71.

I do not agree tbh... the break in was nice,
but the "larger/unlimited" primes have been terrible to keep track of,
especially given the "wiggle room" in available primes;
Maybe I am missing a shortcut; very well possible,
but I essentially had to resort to making my own calculator just to keep track of the options without having to tediously recalc each and ever time what's available and what's no longer given the newly discovered restrictions.
sure very hard puzzle but smooth - to me - it was NOT.
And now back to making said calculator more useful *gg*

sorry to hear the puzzle wasn't as smooth, but gg. I agree this puzzle is one of those "either you see 'it' or you suffer"

oh alright then.. I suffered LOOL;
I'll revisit this puzzle in the future, just need to forget what little I know about it first ;-)

Once I actually read the rules and realised you do not have to use all of the primes this went surprisingly smoothly! A well made puzzle.
