For this Sudoku Variants Project I have planned to publish a unique Sudoku variant every week.
Dutch Arrows
Inspiration for this type comes from juggler.
Solve online in Sudokupad.
I will see how long it takes before I am running out of ideas.
Apply classic sudoku rules.
A digit in a cell with an orange arrow indicates how many digits in the indicated direction differ from it by at least 4.
Solution code: Column 2

Hard to believe this works, and yet it does. Incredible puzzle.

That was fun, but I think only an experienced solver could call that very easy (of course, I’m experienced but pretty terrible).

Reply: I agree with you (at least on the 'this is not very easy'-part :). )
You need to be at least a bit experienced to find the intended opening and be able to proceed.
My initial difficulty rating was two stars, but the collective of players decided it's one.
It's funny that this one receives one star and the 'remote german whispers' has three since it uses more or less the same opening...
