Easier version with lines drawn on, Sudokupad
Normal sudoku rules apply.
Each point in the sudoku grid is connected to exactly one other point. When two points are connected, draw the following lines to connect them: one line going straight up (the rise), one line going straight right (the run). In this sudoku, the rightmost point must always be the uppermost point (no negatives slopes!).
The length of the line going straight up is the rise value and the length of the line going to the right is the run value. Since slope = rise/run, place the rise value on the upper point and the run value on the lower point.
In addition, the combined rise/run lines are each a different kind of famous sudoku line (german whisper, dutch whisper, renban, parity, palindrome, or region sum) - one for each pair of points (no repeat line types).
Cells connected by an X have values that sum to 10.
To clarify the rules: If you think the following two points are connected by a german whisper:
Then they will be connected like this:
Rules reminders:
German Whisper: Adjacent digits along this line must differ by at least 5.
Dutch Whisper: Adjacent digits along this line must differ by at least 4.
Renban Line: The digits along a renban line form a non-repeating set of consecutive digits in any order.
Parity Line: Digits along a parity line alternate between odd and even.
Palindrome: The digits along a palindrome line read the same forwards and backwards.
Region Sum Line: Box borders divide this line into segments with the same sum.
Lösungscode: column 9

You've put out some really creative puzzles, but I think this has to be one of the very best. I love the incorporation of slope and I love how this one solved. Thanks for the wonderful sudoku!!

Great puzzle, I really like the ruleset. It feels like 3 puzzles in one: Find the lines, figure out which line is which, and then solve them.
Reply: For sure - thank you for solving!!

Really unique idea, and beautiful logic to go with it. I had a blast with this puzzle. It was challenging but fun to pick apart until it all eventually collapsed at the end.
Reply: Thank you so much! I know it looks intimidating, but I really feel this is one of my best puzzles!
