Vexation
(Eingestellt Heute, 00:00 Uhr von NXTMaster)
This is the easier version of a puzzle I made a long time ago with my "Disjoint MIN/MAX" idea. If you would like to try a 6x6 version, feel free to give
Confusion a try.
The rules are as follows:
- Place the digits 1-9 once in every row, column, and box such that the digit in row 2 column 1 [r2c1] is greater than the digit in r3c1.
- Littler Killer: The number by an arrow indicates the sum of the digits along the indicated diagonal.
- Disjoint Groups: Each "group" is made up of cells in the same relative position in boxes. Digits may not repeat within each group.
- Disjoint MIN/MAX: Digits in gray cells must be greater than (when the arrows point outward) or less than (when the arrows point inward) the digits in the adjacent cells of the disjoint group (i.e., if a MIN cell were in r5c5, then that cell would have to be less than r5c28 and r28c5).
The puzzle is available on
SudokuPad. Have fun solving!

Fantastic puzzle. I'm happy to say I remembered the correct rules for disjoint min/max. The puzzle geometry really did all the heavy lifting, this only felt 4* difficult, but fun logic path. Thanks for some great setting!
