Rules
Normal sudoku rules apply.
Cells that appear in the same relative position in their 3x3 box must not contain the same number [Disjoint groups].
Black dots join cells whose digits are in a 1:2 ratio. Not all dots are given.
Along green lines, adjacent digits differ by at least 5.

the break in was a one star difficulty.. a beautiful one but super easy essentially.. and 29 digits in (since that was a rush I considered that still "break in period") I got stuck for a second.
when I realised it's not a 1* puzzle ... so I started colouring (giving the cleared highlight imho) aaand while doing so - staring the guy right at the crotch - I saw it.
[I think that's what snookerfan did see as well]
and off for the races again, no need to even think much at all from this point on, it essentially was only fill in.
So yeah, IDK if that's a hiccup, but that was a very nice 1* puzzle IYAM
Thanks a lot for sharing.

Very nice! I found a great step mid solve that made my solve time quick. Thanks

The disjoint set messed with my head. Easy start on the whispers but then spent a long time on the disjoint sets.

I think I tried this when I was too sleepy - I spent a LOT of time staring at things wondering what was next, only to discover it was a simple case of sudoku I had overlooked, ha ha. For actual technical quality, 2 stars of difficulty. Despite my self-imposed frustration, I had a lot of fun solving it.
