Motorway (Classic)

I was solving a New York Times classic sudoku and found an interesting pattern (that was not necessary for the solve). Still, I thought I'd have a go at setting a puzzle with said trick. Hard to judge difficulty, as it depends how quickly you spot the trick. A solution guide is attached if you want to see my intended path. Good luck!
- Normal sudoku rules apply: Place the digits 1 to 9 once each in every row, column, and 3x3 box

Nice to see a good human classic. Not too hard but lots of interesting steps. Took me 15 minutes, so 3* difficulty.
