Christmas Quilt

This puzzle was originally made as a part of the CTC discord server’s Secret Santa gift exchange as the grand finale puzzle for a puzzle pack I made for PjotrV. After PjotrV struggled to solve the last grid of the puzzle I decided I didn’t want to do anything with the puzzle. But after revisiting the puzzle after several months and with a clear head I decided I really like the puzzle as is. Be warned, there is a difficulty spike at the end, but that last grid is so beautiful I decided I didn’t want to nerf it. P.S. shoutout to mnasti2 who coordinated the original Quilt sudoku which I was lucky enough to be a part of. There are some fantastic setters on that project, if you haven’t done it you should do that one as well.

Rules

The grid is made up of nine 6x6 Sudoku grids. In each grid normal 6x6 sudoku rules apply. Each of the standard clue types is used:

Renban: Digits on a red line form a non-repeating set of consecutive digits in any order.

Killer: Digits in a cage must not repeat and sum to the given total.

Whispers: Adjacent digits along a green line must differ by three or more.

Region Sum Lines: Box borders divide blue lines into segments with the same sum.

Arrows: Digits along an arrow sum to the total in that arrows circle.

Thermometer: Digits along a thermometer increase starting at the bulb end.

Ten Lines: Grey lines must be divided into segments which sum to ten.

Double Arrows: Digits along a line connected to two circles must sum to the same total as those two circles.

Clues in this puzzle leave their grid and interact with the other grids. Empty cells between grids contain no numbers.
