Frieza - Whispering Mod 3

The final shape gave me a bit of a Frieza DBZ looking down vibe.
Standard 8x8 sudoku rules apply, using the digits 0-7.
Place the digits 0-7 once in every row, column and bold outlined 4x2 region.
For accessibility, lines have been marked with an abbreviation to distinguish them as an alternative to the line's colour.
Adjacent digits along a green Whisper 5 [W5] line must differ by at least 5.
Along each yellow 3 Modular [3M] line, every set of consecutive three digits contains one from the set of {0,3,6}, {1,4,7} and one from {2,5}.
Each 3M line sits on top of a W5 line with both sets of rules applying to these W5 3M line cells.
Digits in cells joined by an X sum to 10. Digits in cells joined by an V sum to 5.
Not all Xs or Vs are necessarily given.
The shaded area is purely cosmetic.

I had no idea what to expect with this one, took me a few minutes to find a break-in, but it flowed very smoothly after that. I really enjoyed the new challenges this one presented.
For me, the modular lines were my break-in. Maybe sometime I’ll come back to this and try to find another entry point.

The weird set of numbers really got to me in the beginning. I did solve it without the modular lines though.

you forgot to mention that the pink area is pure aesthetic
but great puzzle and using 0 really breaks habits making it feel harder in the start
