This was set for Scojo's Setting Saturday prompts. ThePedallingPianist redeemed this prompt to create a puzzle with rules where the first letter of each word form a perfect pangram.

Thanks to ChinStrap for testing!

Rules:

  • 9x9 sudoku.

  • Mark 9 xeroxers with unique numbers, value becomes 1 orthogonally joined placement. Each line, file, and house quadrilateral gets 1 instance.

  • Killer cages yield totals, zero repeating digits.

In Other Words:

  • Normal sudoku rules apply.

  • Place 9 xeroxers in the grid, one in each row, column, and box. Each xeroxer has a different digit. The value of a xeroxer is equal to the digit in one of its orthogonally adjacent cells.

  • Values in a killer cage sum to the indicated total. Digits may not repeat within a cage, but values can repeat.

Solution code: The digits in the row of the xeroxer cell that contains a 7.
