Normal sudoku rules apply. Place the digits 1 - 9 once in every row, column and box.
Grey lines are palindromes and must read the same from both ends.
Digits separated by an X sum to 10, digits separated by a V sum to 5. Not all X's or V's are given
Digits separated by a white dot are consecutive. Not all white dots are given.
Solve Online : Solution Check is enabled

Very straightforward with coloring or similar, though I can see how people would find it harder if unfamiliar with that strategy.
Still, there does tend to be a much bigger jump to 2*, so I agree with the current 1* rating.

Fairly straightforward and approachable coloring puzzle, which surprises me, because I usually agree when people think a puzzle is underrated in difficulty
RailMan: Maybe you are just better than you realize :)
Last year my 8 and 10yo daughters started solving and setting sudokus with me. That changed my perspective on the difficulty ratings because there were so many things that I could do easily (eg. coloring, set theory, etc...) that they haven't learnt yet. I would prefer if the "easier" puzzles on this website had more distinction between "easy for everyone" and "easy for experienced solvers". But most of all I just want people to enjoy solving puzzles

Agree with the rest, definitely 2*. I guess the people voting 1* never make the actual 1* very easy puzzles.
