Normal Sudoku rules apply. Place the digits 1-9 in each row, column and box without repetition.
Non-Consecutive: Digits in orthogonally adjacent cells may not be consecutive.
German Whispers: Adjacent digits on a green line must have a difference of at least 5.
XV Pairs: Digits separated by an X sum to 10. Digits separated by a V sum to 5.

definitely not level 2.
while some progress can be made early on, the clues run out quickly, and all you have left is the non-consecutive rule, which is a hard constraint to apply.
either there is some esoteric GLOBAL PATTERN that only experts will know (--> level 3), or you have to rely on 30-step bifurcation chains.

Sorry you didn’t enjoy this one as much. There may have been a specific point of logic that you missed, because I made sure needing a large bifurcation was not needed. If fact the Xs in box 4 are not required to make this a unique solution, but I added them for that exact reason.
