Today we have the last puzzle combining all variants of clue created for Scojo's prompt, as redeemed by Juggler, to invent a new type of clue and set a single-variant puzzle using only this clue :-)
I am aware that probably someone has already done puzzle with this constraint, however I have never seen a puzzle like this and invented it myself.
I hope you will enjoy and I would be really grateful for all the comments and ratings.
Here you can try 6x6 puzzles introducing each constraint separately:
First part: Pairometers (6x6 Pack 1)
Second part: Pairometers (6x6 Pack 2)
Third part: Pairometers (6x6 Pack 3)
Normal sudoku rules apply.
Pairometers: A digit in a circle indicates how many orthogonal pairs of digits
- Renban: being consecutive (pink)
- Ratio: in a 1:2 ratio (grey)
- German Whisper (GW): with a difference of at least 5 (green)
- Dutch Whisper (DW): with a difference of at least 4 (orange)
- Parity: with different parity (red)
- Entropy: from the same entropic group ({123}, {456}, {789}) (peach)
- X: summing up to 10
- V: summing up to 5
exist within all its (up to 9) surrounding cells.
For clues with more than one property, each property is counted separately.
Pairometers Explanation:
On the above example, 1 in the circle informs that in the 9 surrounding cells there must be exactly:
- 1 pair of digits from the same entropic group (orange line) AND
- 1 pair of digits summing up to 10 (red line) AND
- 1 pair of digits summing up to 5 (green line).
