Parlor Sudoku

(Eingestellt am 2. Februar 2026, 18:51 Uhr von Yawnus)

This dynamic fog sudoku is inspired by the Parlor Puzzles in the game Blue Prince (see below). Have fun!

Rules:

Normal sudoku rules apply. There are exactly three clues of each type (specified by the letters A-H), at least one of which is true and at least one is false (that is, not completely true):

A) Skyscraper clues outside the grid indicate the number of digits seen along the row or column when higher digits block the view of lower digits behind them.
B) The digits along an arrow sum to the digit in its circle.
C) All the digits in a quadruple must appear in the cells around it.
D) Adjacent digits on a green line differ by at least 5.
E) Digits separated by a white dot are consecutive and those separated by a black dot have a 1:2 ratio.
F) A purple line contains a non-repeating set of consecutive digits.
G) Digits separated by an X sum to 10.
H) Digits along a thermometer increase from the bulb.

The grid is covered with fog. Entering correct digits may reveal more of the grid. No guessing is required.

The Parlor Puzzles

In Blue Prince, a Parlor Puzzle consists of three boxes (Blue, White and Black) with the following rules:

There will always be at least one box which displays only true statements.
There will always be at least one box which displays only false statements.
Only one box has a prize within. The other 2 are always empty.

Here's an example puzzle (not from the actual game but invented by myself):

Blue: The prize is in the box with the only true statement.
White: The black box contains the only true statement.
Black: The white box contains the only false statement.

Answer (highlight the white text to read): If White were true, it would contradict itself; so White is false. If Black were true, Blue would also be true. If Black were false, Blue would still be true because at least one box must be true. Then, Blue is always true, and it must be the only true box and contain the prize. (Actually, assuming that the puzzle has a unique solution, there's a shortcut that allows to solve it easily. Can you find it?)

in the ordinary usage of language, white kropki and black kropki are TWO DIFFERENT "types" of clues.
since you are using "type" here in YOUR OWN way (indicated by a-h), you should SPECIFY that.

-Thanks for pointing out a slight ambiguity in the rules. I hope the rewording makes it clear.
