The digits 1-5 appear once in every row column and irregular region.
Digits an equal distance from the marked central cell of a violet Zipper line must sum to the digit in the central cell. Each of the two Zipper lines has exactly one central cell marked with a violet dot.
The black Extension Cord line connects all other lines it touches so that segments of the same type are joined together by adjacent ends along its stretch. (r5c3 "touches" r2c3) The length and path of an Extension Cord does not need to be assumed. It continues underneath other lines and does not branch unless specified. It may begin and/or end outside the grid to clarify its path or length.

This is a better introduction to the concept than the 101. Still I am unnerved by the unnecessary gap in the zipper (just as the Renban in 101). But curious what 103 will bring.

Why R45C2 are joined by the black line instead of violet line? They are adjacent

Noting that the relationship between these two cells is unaffected by the visial gap will be relevant in the next puzzle.
