Normal sudoku rules do not apply.
Place the digits 1-8 in each row and column with no repeats
The 8x8 sudoku is made up of 4 separate 4x4 sudoku separated in red lines. Each 4x4 sudoku is made up of exactly 4 of the digits 1-8 placed once in each row, column, and 2x2 region.
Even digits may not be orthogonally adjacent to another even digit.
Digits along an arrow sum to the digit in that arrow's circle.
Digits separated by a black dot are in a 1:2 ratio. Not all dots are given.
The grid is partially covered by fog. Placing correct digits will clear surrounding fog.

Wow! I love puzzles like this. It has a puzzle-box like quality to it.

Fantastic puzzle!
It requires the solver to think about the puzzle on a meta level, which usually is not a 1-star skill requirement, but I found this puzzle to be quite accessible.
I hope everyone for whom this is a new challenge gives this a shot! If you ever watched a CtC video of those very complex meta puzzle sudokus and wondered how on Earth Mark and Simon ever learned to do that; this is a great entry-level introduction!

Actually, the puzzle is very nice, however, i was confused with the 4 of 2x2 rules..
