Maybe I cheated - I just put an x through all the v's and turned on the dark mode in the sudokupad experimental settings to inverse the dots.
Never had to use the negative constraint.

Only changing the apprearance of clues dosen't change the logic, it just makes troubles.

Really didn't like it. I didn't have much trouble adjusting to the alternate ruleset, but I don't find it interesting at all.
A gimmick doesn't make a puzzle good.
