This is my response to
Scojo's setting prompt for this week, which was fortress cells and index lines. This puzzle features a fortress-flavoured twist on fillomino with such a fluent feel that I'd be flabbergasted if I'm the first to find it.
FORTRESS FILLOMINO:
• Divide the grid into orthogonally connected regions;
• Enter a digit into each cell representing the size of the region to which that cell belongs, in number of cells;
• Each region must be either strictly larger than all of its orthogonal neighbours or strictly smaller than all of its orthogonal neighbours.
INDEX LINES:
• A digit, D, in the Nth cell of a turquoise line (starting from the diamond) indicates that the Dth cell contains the digit N.
Lösungscode: Column 1 (far left), top to bottom (6 digits)

Fascinating! The fortress rule works so nicely, I'm hoping for a larger sequel :)
