This is a puzzle that I created for MaizeGator as a Secret Santa gift this year, and he was kind enough to suggest that I share with all of you as well.

Rules:

• Shade some cells such that all unshaded cells form one orthogonally connected area, and each orthogonally connected group of shaded cells touches the grid's edge. A "?" represents any positive integer, and may be different each time it appears.
• Pentominoes: Divide the unshaded cells into pentominoes (orthogonally connected groups of 5 cells) such that no two pentominoes of the same shape share an edge, counting rotations and reflections as the same. Each pentomino contains at most one number, and may include none.
• Cave: If a clue is unshaded, it indicates the number of unshaded cells that can be seen in a straight line vertically and horizontally, including itself. Shaded cells block view, but pentomino borders do not.
• Nurikabe: If a clue is shaded, it indicates the size of that group of shaded cells. Each group of shaded cells contains exactly one number.
