This puzzle was created for NXTMaster for the Secret Santa event through the CTC discord. He loved this puzzle and encouraged me to publish it. This puzzle I'm proud about and also wanted to publish it. This puzzle was inspired from the chaos construction variant that NXTMaster does, I experimented with his rule sets and added a couple different changes to what he does. I hope you enjoy the puzzle, feel free to give any type of feed back.

Rules:

1. Place the digits one through nine in every row and column.

2. Place all 12 pentominoes inside the grid without repeats regardless of rotation or reflection. No pentominoes overlap. Each pentomino contains one circle and a cell with a value placed in the top left corner of the cell which is the sum of the digits placed inside of the pentomino. The digits inside a pentomino do not repeat. No pentomino is fully placed inside a given region.

3. The grid is made up of nine regions. None of the given regions contain the digits one through nine.

4. A digit placed inside of a circle counts the number of cells the pentomino takes inside a given region which includes the circle.
