Rules:

Adjacent digits along a green line must differ by at least 5.

A digit N on a gray line indicates that N cannot appear in any cell at exactly the distance N (measured in orthogonal moves) from the origin cell.

4* difficulty. Opening was very clever, mid game was remembering to count

when you say "exactly the distance N" do you mean that "a digit N on a gray line indicates that no cell whose MINIMUM orthogonal moves from N is N"?

Like, if r3c6 were a 5, there's a path of 5 you could take where you "waste steps" and get to r4c8. I am assuming this is not what you mean?
