With kind permission from aqjhs, I am publishing the puzzle sequence that I created for their Secret Santa gift this year. The link below leads to the first puzzle, and then successful solving will lead to Puzzle 2, and so on. Each puzzle features "tinsel", a global constraint, and at least one constraint that was new to me before this Christmas. Happy holidays, everyone!
----
Rules for Part 1 - aka Tinsel and Sugar Plums:
- Normal Sudoku rules apply.
- Global Modularity - Every 2 by 2 box of cells has at least one digit from each of the following sets: [1,4,7], [2,5,8] and [3,6,9].
- Tinsel - On a golden tinsel line, the digit in the Nth cell along the line (starting from the diamond) indicates the position along the line where the digit N appears. Eg: 3214 would be a valid line; the 1st digit, 3, indicates that the 3rd digit is a 1, and so on.
- Ratio Kropki - digits separated by a black Kropki dot have a ratio of 2:1. No negative constraint.
- Sugar Plums - the four digits surrounding a pink sugar plum sum to the value in the middle of the plum. Repeats are allowed if available by other rules.

Thank you for these lovely puzzles, NotSoMagnifique! They combine the grid elements so nicely with the global constraint. It was hard on the scanning, so I have given 3/5 for difficulty overall. But I enjoyed them 5/5 for sure. Thanks again for setting and sharing!

I found last one to be the most difficult. Perhaps it's because I am not a native English speaker.
