Well, i solved it. Took almost an hour. Liked using the apples and stairs. Had to check along the way. Coloured. And still couldn't bifurcate in my head at the end. Thought it would be easier than it did. But then i still have trouble with 1*. ;)

Not particularly close to being a classic sudoku. Some of you guys are really missing out on some terrific stuff - there are some really beautiful classic sudokus out there.
