Really fun! I found the break-in tricky mostly because I read the rules as intending the whole thermo to be something I could fill in with sudoku digits, which is of course mathematically impossible, but once I let myself solve for any integer it became quite smooth.

A very nice puzzle, loved it so much. As for the idea behind the opening, I kind of have the feeling that "there's probably only this kind of approach for setting up the problem" XD

What a strange and unreal puzzle! You should've seen the faces I made looking at the blank grid and being dumbfounded that it solves... And yet, so smooth and so clever. Well deserving of a high rating and certainly not difficult!
