Each player on the pink squares hits their ball diagonally. It bounces off the walls of the court at ninety degrees and returns to its player. On the way, the sixteen cells it encounters (including its starting place) add up to the small numbers in the corners of that player's squares. The grey balls keep going around till eventually they all end up in odd places.

That‘s an interesting ruleset with nice geometric consequences. AFAICT, there‘s however a deadly pattern at the end, allowing for two solutions (with part of the 8s and 9s swapped). Could there be a mystery ball missing - or was one ball misplaced? Nonetheless, thanks for sharing.
