The idea for this sudoku came from an attempt to flip the common 'nonconsecutive' rule on its head. The resulting puzzle ended up having a pretty short solve path, but I thought that the logic was too nice to pass up :). Enjoy!
Rules:
- Sudoku: Place the digits 1-8 once each in every row, column, and outlined 8-cell region.
- Forced Consecutive: Each digit in the puzzle is consecutive with exactly 2 of its neighboring cells (neighboring cells share an edge).
- Little Killers: A clue outside the grid gives the sum of the digits on its indicated diagonal.
Solve with Sudokupad!

Lösungscode: Column 1.
