For solution checking the shading, use the Penpa link and shade with grey.

• Nurikabe:

  • Shade some cells as wet, such that all wet cells are orthogonally connected and no 2x2 group of cells is fully wet. Each connected group of unshaded cells ("dry" cells) contains exactly one clue, and the value of that clue is the number of cells in that dry region.

• Mad Fold-In:

  • When columns 4-8 are removed from the 11x11 grid, the remaing 11x6 grid also forms a valid Nurikabe.

• There's Some Fours In This House:

  • Clues with a ? have value either 4 or 14. The value of each ? may be different, but for each ? the value stays the same on both the folded and unfolded grid.
