Dancing couples

(Published on 18. November 2025, 18:31 by RTJ)

Normal Sudoku rules apply. Kropki Pairs: Digits separated by a black dot are in a 1:2 ratio (one is double the other). Digits separated by a white dot are consecutive. Not all possible dots are necessarily given. Arrow Sudoku: Digits along the shaft of an arrow must sum to the number indicated in the connected circle. Play link

The inspiration behind this Sudoku was to connect two of my passions: Sudokus and the Argentine tango dance.

In the milonga (the place where people gather to dance socially), people dance in a counterclockwise direction, forming concentric circles that create a fascinating social harmony, unique to every evening.

Like a sudoku.

Solution code: Enter the digits of row 5 from left to right

Nice and simple, but still led me around the grid in a pleasant way.

Nice one, but indeed very easy. Took me under 15 minutes and I‘m not a quick solver. Typing in the solution code was more complicated since it was shortend during my solve and the 18 digit one didn’t work anymore … but generally 6 digits should suffice.

Hey RTJ, thanks for sharing your puzzle. I would rather rate this 1* difficulty. For your next setting (which I hope will follow soon!) you might also consider a shorter solution code, solvers tend to get quite frustrated when having to type in two complete rows.
