Ringing the Tesseract

(Eingestellt am 3. November 2025, 22:30 Uhr von Wiggel)

This is the first puzzle in my 'Tesseract Series'.
If you need a snack sized introduction to the concept, I suggest you try 3 Long Tesseract.

I started my exploration with Tesseract Sudoku with Kropki Dots, because they can easily be generalized into 4 dimensions.
I made this puzzle, by trying to find some symmetric arrangements of dots. Of course there are way more axes in 4d space, so the puzzle is only symmetric on some of them.

Rules:

Normal sudoku rules do NOT apply.
Tesseract Sudoku: Place the digits from 1 to 4 once each, in every row and column of a box. Cells that appear in the same position of boxes, which are aligned either horizontally or vertically, may not contain the same digit.
Kropki Sudoku: Digits separated by a white shape are consecutive. Digits separated by a black shape have a 2:1 ratio (i.e. one digit is double the other). Not all shapes are given.

Circles separate two cells inside a box. They are placed on the border between them.

Squares separate two cells in the same position of two orthogonally adjacent boxes. They are placed on the side of each cell, which is facing towards the other.

Eg. R1C1 is separated from R2C1 with a black circle and from R1C5 with a black square.

Lösungscode: Rows 2 and 3 of Box 2 (left to right, 8 digits total)
