My New Rope Belt

I decided to deviate from my usual historical puzzles to do this.
I made a new belt out of rope.
Its belt buckle has a big 9 on it because it has 9 holes I poked (though a bit unevenly) into it.
I put my old belt's buckle into the middle of the new one so you can see the size difference.
It was really fun to make, and I encourage people who read this to make their own rope belts as well.
Normal Sudoku Rules Apply.
Digits in cages do not repeat.
Digits on a thermometer increase from the bulb end, but digits on different branches of it may repeat if allowed by other rules.
Digits on either side of a white belt hole are consecutive.
Digits on either side of a black belt hole are in a 1:2 ratio.
Not all possible belt holes are given.

Definitely felt like a 2-star due to the middle stages, which made me really appreciate the puzzle because of it how trains the solver! Well done on setting this one.

Nice easy start but then a couple of trickier deductions needed to get to the finish line, 1.5* for me. Thanks for sharing!
