Pseudo Spies in the Fog
Rules:
- Normal sudoku rules apply.
- Every row, column, and 3x3 box contains exactly one 'pseudo digit'.
- The real value of a cell containing pseudo digit is calculated by adding its row number to its column number. E.g.,: if there is a pseudo digit in r3c8, it has the value of 11 (regardless of which digit appears in that cell). For cells with non-pseudo digits, the value equals the digit.
- Values in cells joined by an X sum to 10. Values in cells joined by a V sum to 5.
- Values in cells joined by a white dot are consecutive. Values in cells joined by a black dot are in a 1:2 ratio (i.e., one value will be double the other).
- Values in a cage sum to the total given.
- Values of adjacent digits along a green line have a difference of at least 5.
- Additionally, the grid is partially covered in fog. Entering correct digits will clear fog from the adjacent cells. No guessing is required.

I enjoyed this very much! I jumped to a wrong conclusion midway, noticed and had a great time working out what the solution has to be instead.

Loved the puzzle. First time i've done one of the value is not digit type puzzles, they always scared me but this seemed approachable. Thanks!

This puzzle is a nice introduction to fog-of-war, and to the concept of using values rather than digits.
