A-Row & Z-Row
(Eingestellt am 25. Oktober 2025, 02:22 Uhr von Scojo)
Rules:
- Normal sudoku rules apply: Place the digits 1-9 once each in every row, column, and 3x3 box.
- A-Row: Identify one of the horizontal rows in the grid as the A-Row. Every cell in the A-Row contains the circle of an invisible arrow. Every circle must have at least one valid arrow extending from it, which travels in a straight line vertically or diagonally until it hits an edge of the grid. Arrows may not cross or overlap other arrows. Values along an arrow sum to the value in the attached circle.
- Z-Row: Identify a different horizontal row as the Z-Row. The value of every cell in the Z-Row is 0 (the value of any cell not in the Z-Row is its own digit).
- X-Sum: Clues outside the grid give the sum of the first X values in that column from the direction of the clue, where X is the first value in that column.
Optional rule: All rows that are not the A-Row or the Z-Row are Spare-Rows. Draw a little birdie next to them with the Markup Tool.
Solve in SudokuPad

Lösungscode: All digits in the A-Row, followed by all digits in the Z-Row

That was insane! I spent an hour just looking at what I thought had to be the A-row, but it broke everytime. Then I realized after excruciatingly staring at the ruleset that I misunderstood it. After that it clicked almost immediately
The arrows had to be a "straight" line. I initially thought they could bend, first vertical then change mid arrow to diagonal. Well, don't make the same mistakes as me lol
Amazing puzzle! So weird, yet so entertaining

Tricky, tricky, tricky. Spent a lot of time looking at what I thought had to be the A-line. Turned out I had the puzzle upside down ;)
