Rules

• Normal Sudoku rules apply.
• Dutch Whispers: adjacent digits on an orange line must differ by at least 4.
• Een Vijf Negen: all 1s, 5s, and 9s in the puzzle must appear on a Dutch Whispers line.
• Black Kropki: digits separated by a black dot are in a 2:1 ratio.
• Thermometers: digits strictly increase in value along a thermoment from bulb to tip.

I am very proud of the logic in this one. Technically the rule about 1/5/9 is not required for a unique solution but it makes the logic flow very smoothly in my opinion. Also, the surprise ending surprised me too! It was a happy accident of the geometry. Anyway, hope you enjoy solving this as much as I enjoyed setting it!
