Crossword Sudoku

(Eingestellt am 11. Oktober 2025, 01:10 Uhr von Artham)

This is the second Sudoku I created, I hope you enjoy solving it. It was quite fun to set.

Try it on SudokuPad.

Fill the grid with digits from 1 to 9 without repeats in a line or a column (all squares must be filled).

Every set of multiple adjacent white digits in all rows and columns is a renban (it must contain a set of non-repeating consecutive digits in any order) and is called a "word".

Use the following word clues to help you with some of the digits (roman numerals indicate a row, regular ones indicate a column, "first" and "second" are used in case there are more than one word there) :

HORIZONTAL
I (first): If numbers are letters, starts with C.
III (first): Vowels at the end, please.
VII: "Happy Birthday" in the middle.
VIII (second): Not a prime number.

VERTICAL
2 (second): Ends in its prime.
5 (first): Just for free.
7: Starts odd, even at the end.
9: Gets sexual at the third position.

Lösungscode: digits in the middle row from left to right

To clarify the rules: every set of white digits in all rows and columns is a renban, ending at the black cells, whether or not it has a word clue. The word clues are meant to be a few given digits.

It's a sudoku, so you'll enter only digits in the grid. The hints will help you find some digits to get you going by pointing to "words" in the crossword, but they are not really words, they are sets of digits that have the renban property.
