Normal 6x6 sudoku rules apply.
Pink lines join consecutive digits.
On each star, no two pairs of orthogonally adjacent digits may have the same sum. (Cells touched by a star have been shaded in case of emoji inconsistency.)
Lösungscode: The sum of all digits on the top left star

it is important to aim for objective standards in the difficulty rating.
first of all, with nothing to "bite on", we use basic sudoku. if that was enough, it would be level 0 (gas). but it runs out pretty quick, so you investigate the star. and that produces no results, so it's level 2. bottom line, you will need to do some casing, using long chain bifurcation, OR you use some advanced techniques, which makes it level 3. 3 such steps are needed. that's enough to put it to the upper end of level 2, but not level 3.
another way: ask:
a) if a "beginner" can do it comfortably - level 1
b) with a lot of effort - level 2
c) hardly at all - level 3
