Herniated Ring

(Published on 3. October 2025, 19:36 by brtmns)

Normal sudoku rules apply.

A black dot separates two digits such that one is twice the other.

A white dot separates two digits that are consecutive.

Digits appearing in large circles (on grid intersections) must appear in the surrounding four cells.

Digits cannot repeat within a cage, and the digits within a cage must add up to the total given in that cage’s upper-left corner.

Very nice! A bit of maths, a bit of rings and a smooth puzzle over all. Thank you

Very nice, but hard - took me 59 minutes and nearly gave myself a herniated ring in the process. Probably an even harder puzzle if solving without knowing about the other ring.

Glad you like it and sorry for your ring :)

If you are familiar with a certain ring it is quite easy to solve. I would give it 2*. No idea how it is without that certain knowledge though.
Thank you for that lovely puzzle!
