It's my wrogn!

(Eingestellt am 27. September 2025, 21:26 Uhr von 72kchunshuai)

I made this one when I was very new to sudoku.I stumbled upon it yesterday and found that it's a tough fight for even me! So I thought, I can't be the only one tormented by this puzzle.I'm so sorry for the long rules, and your feedback is very appreciated.

P.S. As for the title—according to a friend, it comes from the anime It's MyGo!!!!!, though I didn't mean it.

Rules:

  • Normal Sudoku rules apply.
  • However, in the end grid, every clue is wrogn (invalid)! A clue is valid if:
  • Thermometers: Digits strictly increase from the bulb end of a thermo.
  • Kropkis: Digits along a white dot are consecutive.Digits along a black dot are in a ratio of 1:2.
  • XVs: Digits along an 'X' sum to ten.Digits along a 'V' sum to five.
  • Odd-Even: Digit in a grey circle is odd.Digit in a grey square is even.
  • Quadruples: All digits inside a quadruple clue are found in the surrounding four cells.
  • Minimum: Minimum cells are smaller than all four adjacent cells
  • Killer cages: Digits in a cage sum to the given number on the top left.
  • Little killers: A clue outside the grid with an arrow equals to the sum of the digits along the indicated diagonal.
  • Numbers on the outside without an arrow are valid Numbered Rooms or Skyscraper clues:
  • Skyscraper: Treat every digit in the grid as buildings of that height. Clues represent the number of visible skyscrapers from that direction. Taller buildings obscure vision of shorter buildings.
  • Numbered Rooms: Clues outside the grid indicate the digit which has to be placed in the Nth cell in the corresponding direction, where N is the digit placed in the first cell in that direction.
  • German whisper lines: Along green lines, all pairs of adjacent digits differ by at least five.
  • Renban: Digits on a purple line form a non-repeating set of consecutive digits, in any order.
  • Nabner: No two digits on a yellow line are equal or consecutive.
  • Ten lines: Digits on a red line can be broken into one or more contiguous groups of cells that each sum to ten.

Nice construction! As I am not that good at observation, I would say 4 stars difficulty is quite fair.

Very enjoyable. I have one suggestion but I'll put it in a separate hidden comment to avoid giving what might be an unwanted hint to some puzzlers.

I quite enjoyed this. I felt 3* was right because each deduction was never too complex. Despite the "low" difficulty, it kept me occupied for quite some time between the sheer quantity of clues, the usual mind-warp of wrogn clues, and the unusual break-in.

Thanks for commenting. I actually guess most people will think it's a 4*, but I agree it's not that difficult to make the deductions, compared to those real 4* challenges.

Spectacular puzzle. No idea how you could even set something so cool. At every moment, there was one clue that made a difference. I do think it is a 4* difficulty though.

Thank you for saying that! I actually can't recall the exact details. I guess it was passion that swirled a little magic into it.
