Permaculture: Divide the grid into 2 areas of orthogonally connected cells. Solve one area according to Aquapelago rules, and the other according to Anglers rules.
Aquapelago: Shade some cells such that no two shaded cells are orthogonally adjacent. All unshaded cells must be orthogonally connected, and no 2x2 area can be fully unshaded. Clues (numbers and question marks) must be shaded, and a number indicates how many cells are in its diagonally connected group of shaded cells. Groups of shaded cells may contain any number of clues, including none.
Anglers: From each number or question mark, draw a path that moves orthogonally through the centers of empty cells until arriving at a fish. A number indicates the length of its path (measured center to center from the number to the fish). All cells in the Anglers area must be used by exactly one path. The Anglers area contains every fish and exactly one number/question mark for each fish.
Lösungscode:
The number of shaded Aquapelago cells in each row from top to bottom

I loved many aspects about this puzzle, which you can see in the video I've posted as a hidden comment. Without spoilers, I also enjoyed the connectivity logic and thought that the essence of both puzzle genres were very well preserved and integrated

A lot of really fun connectivity logic in this one, and it flowed quite nicely once I found the break-in!
