Entangled (Diagonal Renban Killer Sudoku)

- Place digits in the grid such that every row, column and 3x3 box contains each digit from 1 to 9 exactly once.
- Each of the two main diagonals contains every number from 1 to 9 exactly once.
- The cells on a purple line contain a set of non-repeating consecutive digits, but not necessarily in order.
- We call an area surrounded by a dashed line a cage. Digits may not repeat within a cage. A number in the top left corner of a cage indicates the sum of all digits in this cage.

This was wonderful, there were a number of really fun and interesting deductions.
Alas I'm fairly sure I missed some deduction in the middle of the solve as I found myself spending sometime manually determining conflicts between renbans and a couple of the cages - A subsequent set of deductions then solved the puzzle extremely cleanly, and it's possible that they were available earlier but I didn't understand them or their implications.
So sorry for messing up that part of your puzzle :D

Beautiful and somewhat intricate setting!
Figuring out the key observations in the first half was certainly the hardest part, but it paid off well for the later portions of the solve.
