This puzzle was created for
Scojo's 2nd annual
Secret Impostor event,
in which I was assigned to impersonate
Sotehr.
One of several puzzles I drew inspiration from was
Seven Hidden Frogs
The name,
Troglodytes refers to humanoid cave-dwelling creatures, which are often
portrayed as reptilian in various games such as D&D.
Rules:
- Sudoku:
Normal Sudoku rules apply; place the digits 1-9 once in every row, column, and 3x3 box.
- Killer Cages:
Digits in a cage do not repeat and sum to the value indicated in the upper leftmost corner, if given.
- German Whisper Line:
Green lines connect cells with a minimum difference of 5.
- Dutch Whisper Line:
Orange lines connect cells with a minimum difference of 4.
- Region Sum Line:
Blue lines are divided by 3x3 box borders into sums of equal value.
- Renban Line:
Magenta lines contain a set of non-repeating consecutive values in any order.
- Even:
Digits in a gray square are even.
- Black Kropki Dots:
Digits separated by a black dot have a ratio of 1:2.
- White Kropki Dots:
Digits separated by a white dot are consecutive.

To me this was very hard. Took me two hours just to get a third of the puzzle pencil marked. Then it all collapsed in 3 minutes. Enjoyable but a tough nut to crack.
