Simply Arrows

Rules:

🔲 Normal 9×9 sudoku rules apply:
Place the digits 1–9 in every row, column, and 3×3 box.

➦ Arrows:
Digits along an arrow sum to the digit in the attached circle (Digits on arrow's circle are read left to right, top to bottom).

⚠ Note:
There are only three red arrows and each circle has exactly one arrow leading out of it.

⚪ White Kropki dots:
A white dot between cells means the digits are consecutive. Not all dots are shown.

🌫 Dynamic Fog of War:
Shaded cells are hidden. When a cell is filled with the correct digit it may reveal other shaded cells. No guessing is required.

As Sujoyku said, the circle can technically be a 7 if it links with the right arrow. However, the diagonal in r5c9 (hard to see) prevents this.

Is there a way to logically determine the course of the arrows in the bottom right (Box 6 and Box 9)? Arrows are allowed to run diagonally, so there seems to be a variety of options how to link them up. For example: circle in r7c7 with 7-52 pointing downwards, circled 9 in r9c9 connected to 3114 (running through r8c9, r7c8, r6c9, r5c9) and a circled 9 in r5c8 with 3 and 6 in r5c7 and r4c7
Am I missing something?

Ouh you might have caught something here I missed... but * SPOILER (The idea is to focus on the circle in the corner and realise that it can only be nine, and after placing it, the rest is revealed helping you progress) * SPOILER I'm now realising though that with the path you mentioned that I totally did not see it could also be a 7... I might have to reveal an extra cell to fix it.

Really enjoyed this, which is a rare sight for arrow puzzles in my case. Thanks for setting, Riccardo!

In response to you using a computer to verify it, I would be careful. Some may not account for fog when solving the puzzle.

Playing through it myself, It seems like it does result in a unique solution, though I fear I can't quite understand VitP's placement of numbers for the columns, so they might see something you and I are missing.

To me, it seems pretty obvious which arrow is connected to the first visible circle, and there seems to only be one digit that can satisfy it. As soon as the digit is placed the fog starts to clear up pretty quickly.

- Reply_Riccardo:
Thank you for your comment. Yeah I understand what you're saying and it's true that the computer doesn't account for the fog: so while the solution is unique the fog might lead you to a false step? But I don't think it'something that could happen, to have another digit being correct simply because the others are hidden. And like you said it doesn't look like there could be multiple pathways, it seems pretty straightforward to me. I imagine a mistake somewhere at the start has been made that lead to that conclusion.

This is easily a 2* puzzle.

i can fill the 3 right-most columns with
{189}537642
{237}648159
{456}912837

which is "wrong", but does nor contradict any available information

-Reply_Riccardo:
Hi VitP, sorry but I don't see these numbers working. Even simply looking only at the 3 right-most columns, there are clues that don't match your numbers. Have you cleared all the fog? If the correct numbers aren't placed the fog won't clear itself. I even ran the sudoku through the computer and the solution is unique.
