This puzzle was created for Round 1 of Agent's puzzle championship.
Rules:
- Normal Sudoku rules apply.
- All outside clues are both Knapp Daneben Skyscraper clues and Knapp Daneben Numbered Rooms clues.
- Knapp Daneban Skyscraper:
Looking into the row/column from the clue's side of the grid, a cell is seen if and only if its digit is larger than all the digits between itself and the clue. A number, X, outside of the grid indicates that either X-1 or X+1 cells are seen. - Knapp Daneben Numbered Rooms:
For each outside clue, the positions in the row/column are numbered from 1 to 9, counting from the clue's side of the grid. A digit, X, outside of the grid is the digit that occurs in either position N-1 or N+1, where N is the digit in the cell closest to the clue.
The position of X must be inside of the grid (for example, if N=9, then you cannot place X in position N+1=10).
