I rarely make a puzzle with that many givens. But I give it a try and here is the puzzle for you. Let me know if the rating should be 2 or 3.
Rules:
1. Normal sudoku rules apply.
2. Digits along the two diagonals must not repeat.

I would say a high 2*, but I could hear an argument for a 3* as well! Tough choice. Nice puzzle!
