- Normal sudoku rules apply.
- Yin and Yang: Shade some cells such that all shaded cells are orthogonally connected and all unshaded cells are orthogonally connected. No 2x2 area may be fully shaded or unshaded.
- Negative cells: The value of all shaded cells is the negative of the digit in the cell, for example, if a shaded cell contains a 5, the value of that cell is -5. The value of a cell applies to all of the following rules.
- Arrows: Vales along an arrow sum to the value in the connected circled cell. Digits may repeat on an arrow, so long as they don’t break the other sudoku rules.
- All the arrows’ circles are unshaded and hence have a positive value.
- Killer cages: Values in cages must sum to the number in the top-left corner. Digits cannot repeat in cages. (In case it's unclear, the cage at R5C3 has a sum of -2)
- Kropki dots: Cells connected by a black dot have values with a 1:2 ratio. Not all possible dots are given.
