Combination Lock

(Published on 5. August 2025, 15:41 by chrisjnap)

Normal sudoku rules apply.

In this puzzle, there are lines of two different colors. It is up to the solver to determine which color corresponds to each of the following two constraints.

German Modular Line: Adjacent digits must be at least 5 apart and every set of three consecutive cells contains one digit from (147), one from (369), and one from (258).

Entropic Parity Line: Adjacent digits must alternate between even and odd and every three consecutive cells must contain a low digit (1,2,3), middle digit (4,5,6) and high digit (7,8,9).

For length 2 lines, both constraints must still be followed.

Cells in killer cages sum to the total given in the top left hand corner.

Numbered Rooms: Clues outside of the grid indicate the digit which has to be placed in the Nth cell in the corresponding direction, where N is the digit placed in the first cell in that direction.

In order for the solution checker to work, place zeros in all empty cells outside of the grid when you are done.
