We are so back
To anyone who's wondering where I've been, the answer is busy! Between now and my last puzzle a few months ago, I published a journal piece, wrote a thesis, graduated, moved, and am now officially employed!
I don't know exactly how regularly I'll keep up setting; work is rough, and I have other creative projects that I'm working on. Still, though, it's good to be back!
This puzzle was set for round 7 of the first Skunkworks League competition season hosted by damasosos92, in which participants get a few weeks to set a puzzle per round. For this round, among other constraints, puzzles had to be a quattroquadri. At least 8 different standard, local variants had to be used, and each could be used exactly once. Furthermore, contestants were to aim for a 2-3 star difficulty level on LMD.
I do think this puzzle might be closer to 4 star territory for some, so I've provisionally rated it at that, but I could see it sitting at 3 stars here as well.
Also, if you enjoyed this puzzle and are looking for more, you can find a whole 36 other handcrafted quadroquattri puzzles (in the 2-4 star range) that I spent more time and care setting in my quadroquattri pack, which includes some of my favorite puzzles I've ever set!

Really nice puzzle! Severely underrated in enjoyability, and overrated in difficulty in my opinion. A very fun 2.5/5 puzzle! :D
