Could Mean Everything

(Published on 31. July 2025, 22:04 by sujoyku)

The evil wizard Graham Babblemad has heard you know about a secret (that Simon only tells his favourite people).
To get hold of it, he captured you and brought you to his magic castle in the Mountains of Daft.
This is what he says to you:
“There is no secret I shall not know of! So you will tell me your secret, if you want or not, ahahaha! What? You believe you can escape from my castle, you fool? Noone can do that. The only way to leave is my magic portal and you cannot use that, get it? How would you use it without my magic keys? You can’t, right? I have them safely hidden in my chambers. And in my chambers everything could mean everything and only I know what everything means, hahaha! So dare not touch anything or you will die! Okay, if you do not tell me the secret today, you will tell me tomorrow. No way out, eh? Anyhow …”
The wizard leaves you dumbfounded. One thing is sure: You need to get out of here. Hopefully some parts of his blabber were actually true …

Rules:

- Normal 6x6 sudoku rules apply, i.e each row, column, and 2x3 region has to contain the digits from 1 to 6 once each.

- Keys: Each key digit (to be collected from the four chambers) has to appear at least once in one of the four centrals cells touching the Portal. Moreover, each key digit has to appear at least once in an arrow's circle.

- Arrows: Digits on an arrow sum to the digit in the circle from which the arrow emerges.

I found this a bit more challenging than expected but well worth the effort - fun theming and solidly constructed. These were all so good.

Thank you for your comment, ViKingPrime! I am glad that you liked the pack. Concerning difficulty: I think one or two puzzles might be harder than 2 stars, so my estimate is rather meant to be a rough average.
