I also got to near the end and encountered an opportunity for two correct solutions, similar to sandbo00's comment

An excellent debut! I can tell you understand the mechanics well, and the thermo shapes were well thought out!

@xocolatl okay. I may be actually blind, or stupid, or both :D

@sandbo00, check your thermo in box 8.

The start was fun, but I don't think there is a way to actually get to a unique solution right at the end, or is there? I can definitely enter a solution that is correct according to the rules, but does not pass solution checking. If you take a look at the state in this screenshot (warning, SPOILERS) https://files.catbox.moe/nypwha.png I dont see anything preventing me from entering a 9 in R9C5, but according to sudokupad's solution checking, this is incorrect.

18 digit solution code? But why?

Great puzzle. There's no reason for the solution code to be so long.

Easy but very enjoyable puzzle. Thank you!
(In my opinion 9-digit solution code is probably the best)

Excellent debut and a fun surprise at the end. Great use of combining two different rules to help with deductions.
